About our Group

A simple aim

The Colonial Forces Study Group (Queensland) Inc was formed in Brisbane in 2008 to tell the stories of Queenslanders both native born and immigrants, who by voluntarily undertaking military service, put the interests of the Colony before their own.
Our Group manages a growing educational resource and provides a ready tool for genealogical research.
